Dozen Jars

Dozen Jars - honey

Project of responsible apiculture practices, contributing to the sustainable development of producers and their communities while helping preserve Mayan rainforest of the Yucatán Peninsula (Yucatán, Campeche and Quintana Roo). The beehives are deep in the jungle far from crops that might contaminate the honey with pesticides, fungicides or herbicides. Small cooperatives of beekeepers utilize traditional techniques as well as modern apiculture advances.  Works diligently to have healthy bees in a healthy jungle. Dozen Jars donates a percentage of its sales to the preservation of endangered regional species.
