Creates opportunities for unique and rewarding interactions with local people, traditional and contemporary culture and the natural environment. Ilha Blue guides are all from Ilha de Moçambique. They know everything about the island and its unique history, from well before the Portuguese arrived right up to the present day. Aims to get more women involved in local tourism as a matter of social justice and the best way to create positive change. They will establish a dynamic space with a social purpose and a work focus, which will be closely linked to Ilha Blue’s operations so also providing direct employment.
